The monumental treasures of Europe Park

Strolling through its little corners, enjoying the views of the great monuments of Europe as you get to know something of each country and, simultaneously, learning about those monuments you never had the opportunity to see. Many people in Madrid love to do this in their free time − with their children, friends, their dogs or alone. This is Europe Park: the space where the old continent displays its most important treasures.

European monuments in miniature
Europe Park
is located in the southern Madridian city of Torrejón de Ardoz, a few minutes from Madrid, the capital city of Spain. Behind its doors it offers replicas of 17 European monuments and even an original piece of the Berlin Wall. Each replica has its place and discovering the park gradually you will approach each of these magnificent pieces of European history, which have their own idiosyncrasies. The originality of the park is having all the monuments on view in just the one place, for "arriving, looking and admiring". So you can travel like in a dream through several countries of Europe without having to travel through even a small part of the continent. Comfortable, isn´t it?

Walking past London Bridge, visiting the Eiffel Tower without leaving "home", relaxing in the amphitheatre or the Greek theatre, capturing new memories in the unforgettable Berlin Wall, photographing the Puerta de Alcalá or cooling down in the Italian Fontana de Trevi – the Trevi Fountain. All that and more is within this park, courtesy of small but great monuments that will make you forget they are in the end replicas. They are constructed faithful to reality, evoking the feeling you are there in those places − but maybe in a different climate of course!

Arriving, looking and admiring

The park has three entrances from where you can completely and comfortably access the whole collection of monuments, as in a gallery. Many trees help; their robust presence in the hottest summers makes you feel a little cooler and more rested; your energies will be renewed so you can continue on your discovery of Europe. There is also an abundance of flowers making the area even more beautiful and cheerful.

The entrance to the park is free, although the different activities may have a small cost. However, it’s worth trying at least some of them, which will leave happy memories not only for children but also adults. Imagine embarking on a romantic boat ride with your partner and admiring the monuments from the beautiful lake. You can also try the water ball or just watching those who dare to do it. If you fancy the world of archery, wait no futher to discover if your arrows will hit the mark!. In the Giant Woman you can learn more about the human body or, in the other corner, find wild animals in the Wildlife Adventure Park.

Resting feels good
Many restaurants and cafes are available if you want to relax and take refreshments but do not want to leave the park. If you prefer to bring your own food, there is a picnic area where you can eat quietly and at your leisure. Puppies also have their own area where they can run free, although in the park itself they must be leashed.

This is the great Europe Park which shows especially the most important monuments that the old continent offers: interesting and original, definitely a place in which everyone finds their own iconic treasure and wants to capture photos to provide good memories. This famous park offers you small-in-size but sufficiently magnificent landmarks to ensure you do not forget a place and where travelling through Europe becomes easy.
